Describe the geography of the steppe and its effects on the life of the Mongols.
Describe the expansion of the Mongol Empire under Genghis Khan and his successors.
Assess the accomplishments and impact of the Mongols
Trace the growth of the Ottoman Empire under the early sultans.
Describe the accomplishments of the Ottomans under Suleiman.
Discuss the reasons fro the gradual decline of the empire after the death of Suleiman.
