3. Compare and contrast peasant life and the life of the nobility under Louis XIV.
4. Define absolute monarchy.

Objectives:

1. Given an outline map of Europe, students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the weather, topography, and geography or Europe, and how it affects the history of France.
2. Students will demonstrate an analysis of the geography and resent history of France through a worksheets on recent events in France.
